Incident Summary:

07/29/2020: An explosive device detonated and assailants opened fire on a military patrol in Penditen, Datu Salibo, Maguindanao, Philippines. Two soldiers were killed and 13 soldiers and seven assailants were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Movement (BIFM).
