Incident Summary:

08/02/2020: Assailants armed with firearms and grenades attacked the residence of Mohamed Abdullahi Kosto in Wanlaweyne, Lower Shebelle, Somalia. Kosto, a deputy district commissioner, was killed and five people were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to Al-Shabaab.
