08/05/2020: An explosive device detonated near the convoy of Mahbubullah Ghafari, a former provincial official, in Chashma Sher, Baghlan, Afghanistan. Ghafari was not harmed; however, at least 11 police officers guarding the convoy were killed and 24 other people were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
