Incident Summary:

08/06/2020: Assailants opened fire on residents and set fire to residences in Magamiya, Kaduna, Nigeria. At least five people were killed and seven houses were set on fire in the assault. This was one of five coordinated attacks in this area overnight. Ansaru (Jama'atu Ansarul Muslimina Fi Biladis Sudan) claimed responsibility for the incidents. Sources also attributed the attacks to Fulani extremists.
