08/09/2020: Assailants opened fire on tourists at Koure Giraffe Centre in Koure, Tillaberi, Niger. At least six tourists, identified as French humanitarian aid workers, a driver, and a guide were killed in the attack. The Islamic State in the Greater Sahara (ISGS) claimed responsibility for the incident.
