Incident Summary:

08/09/2020: Assailants armed with firearms and machetes attacked Aloys, Ituri, Democratic Republic of the Congo. At least 12 people were killed in the assault. This was one of three coordinated incidents in this area on the same day. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Cooperative for the Development of the Congo (CODECO) militia.
