08/12/2020: An explosive device detonated targeting police responding to a previous incident in Dungawon Tinaytayan, San Miguel, Bukidnon, Philippines. There were no reported casualties. This was one of two incidents in this area on this day. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the New People's Army (NPA).

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
