08/14/2020: Assailants raided the headquarters of an internet-based company, owned by Tahseen Oussama, and opened fire in al-Janinah, Basra, Iraq. Oussama, who was also a prominent civil society activist, was killed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to an Iran-backed militia.
