08/00/2020: Sometime between August 1, 2020 and August 31, 2020, assailants abducted a civilian in Tulcan, Carchi, Ecuador. The hostage was released four days later. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspected the involvement of the National Liberation Army of Colombia (ELN).
