Incident Summary:

08/20/2020: An explosive device detonated targeting two civilian vehicles near the Ibrahim ibn Malik al-Ashtar shrine in Shaykh Ibrahim, Saladin, Iraq. Six people, including two police officers and four civilians, were killed and five others were wounded in the blast. This was one of two related attacks in the area on the same day. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incidents.
