Incident Summary:

08/21/2020: Assailants opened fire on civilians in La Guyacana, Narino, Colombia. Six people were killed and eight other people were abducted in the assault. Six of the hostages were released shortly after being taken, but the whereabouts and wellbeing of the remaining hostages are unknown at this time. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, four members of the Oliver Sinisterra faction of FARC dissidents were arrested in connection with the attack.
