Incident Summary:
09/04/2020: Assailants attacked a village in Pusnar, Bijapur district, Chhattisgarh, India. This was one of two related attacks in this area on this date. At least 20 villagers were abducted across both attacks after being identified as suspected police informants. Four villagers were killed shortly after and the others were beaten and then released. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to Maoists.
