Incident Summary:

09/14/2020: Assailants attacked security posts in Qarat, Badakhshan, Afghanistan. At least 21 people, including four police officers and 17 assailants, were killed and 13 others, including six police officers and more than a dozen assailants, were injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
