Incident Summary:

09/00/2020: Sometime between September 1, 2020 and September 30, 2020, assailants abducted civilians from villages in Mawiyah district, Taizz, Yemen. This was one of three related abductions in Taizz in September. At least 50 civilians were kidnapped across the three attacks. The outcome of the hostage taking is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Houthi extremists (Ansar Allah).
