Incident Summary:

09/17/2020: Assailants opened fire at a hotel bar known as the Royal Garden Relaxation Spot along Ayingba-Ankpa highway in Egume, Kogi, Nigeria. One person was killed and three others were kidnapped in the attack. An unknown number of people were also injured. The three hostages were released on September 19th, 2021. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Fulani extremists.
