09/26/2020: Assailants opened fire on a military post in Kanisk, Farah, Afghanistan. At least seven soldiers were killed in the attack. In addition, at least seven other soldiers were taken hostage. The outcome of the abduction is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
