Incident Summary:

10/04/2020: An assailant stabbed a homosexual couple in Dresden, Saxony, Germany. One victim was killed and the other was injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, authorities arrested and charged a Syrian national identified as Abdullah al-HH, who was a known supporter of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and was reported to have been in contact with an ISIL recruiter. Sources suspected that the attack had homophobic and Islamist motivations.
