Incident Summary:
10/00/2020: Sometime between October 14, 2020 and October 17, 2020, assailants attacked Warduj district, Badakhshan, Afghanistan. This was one of four attacks in this area at this time. At least 11 security forces and 15 assailants were killed and 40 other people were wounded across the four attacks. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
