Incident Summary:

10/19/2020: Assailants opened fire on the vehicle of Abdul Hai Zazai, the Zazai Maidan district governor, on his way to Kabul in Altamur, Logar, Afghanistan. Two people, including Zazai and a bodyguard, were killed and one other person, a local leader, was injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
