10/31/2020: Assailants attempted to attack a COVID-19 quarantine checkpoint in Pangi, Surigao del Sur, Philippines. Security forces responded to the attempted attack; killing four assailants and injuring an unknown number of assailants. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the New People's Army (NPA).
