Incident Summary:

11/08/2020: An assailant broke into a house and set fires in the Leschi neighborhood of Seattle, Washington, United States. The assailant was injured in the attack, and other property was damaged. This was one of two similar incidents committed by the same assailant on this date. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, police arrested Lisbeth Delacruz-Monegro, an activist with the group Morning March Seattle, at the scene. Delacruz-Monegro admitted to unlawfully entering seven houses, damaging property, and setting fires. It is unclear if there is a connection between Monegro’s activism and these attacks.
