Incident Summary:

11/27/2020: Assailants armed with firearms and machetes attacked and held hostage Christian civilians at a Salvation Army outpost in Lemban Tongoa, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia. At least four people were killed and several residences and a church were set on fire during the attack. Mujahidin Indonesia Timur (MIT) claimed responsibility for the attack and stated that it was carried out in retaliation for alleged attacks by Christians against Muslims in Indonesia.
