Incident Summary:
12/12/2020: Assailants attacked a military checkpoint in Shah Wali Kot district, Kandahar, Afghanistan. This was one of five coordinated attacks targeting checkpoints around Kandahar. At least 51 assailants were killed, and nine assailants were injured across all attacks. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Taliban.

Criteria 1
