Incident Summary:

12/22/2020: An explosive device attached to a vehicle carrying doctors employed at the Pul-e-Charkhi Prison in Doghabad, Kabul, Afghanistan. Four doctors and one prison guard were killed while two people were injured in the blast. The Khorasan Chapter of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that the doctors were targeted because of medical malpractice against jailed militants in Pul-e-Charkhi prison.
