12/26/2020: A landmine detonated targeting the vehicle of Agha Mir Wadan, the National Directorate of Security (NDS) district head, in Nawa-i-Barakzayi district, Helmand, Afghanistan. Two people, including Wadan and a bodyguard, were killed and three bodyguards were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
