New START study analyzes chemical and biological weapon attackers

A new START project aims to characterize the psychology of extremists who employ chemical and biological agents as weapons and provide strategic guidance to authorities to reduce the likelihood and mitigate the impact of such attacks.

The project, “Profiling the CB Adversary: Motivation, Psychology and Decision,” is conducted by Gary Ackerman, Cory Davenport, Markus Binder, Herbert Tinsley, Rebecca Earnhardt, Crystal Watson, Matt Watson and Tara Kirk Sell.
