CQ Homeland Security Covers START Center Conference

CQ Homeland Security reviewed the Start Center's plans and activities following the first official Center meeting, which was held in College Park, Md., June 9 to 10, 2005. In particular, reporter Patrick Yoest highlighted the Center's database of terror incidents, which contains information on 70,000 terrorist events between 1970 and 1997. The database consists of open source (unclassified) data, and will be available to scholars and researcher worldwide.
