As Kenya is home to the best schools in the region, it is unsurprising that Garissa University College in Garissa, Kenya, was attacked by gunman linked to Somali al-Shabab jihadist-terror group, especially in a time when the world’s terrorist organizations are increasingly attacking educational establishments. According to START investigator Margaret Wilson, schools are particularly being targeted because of the emotional reaction they elicit.
