START researcher awarded new position at Georgia State University
Georgia State University professor and START investigator Dr. Anthony Lemieux has been named Associate Director of Georgia State’s new Global Studies Institute. Dr. Lemieux also serves as lead researcher of the Transcultural Conflict and Violence Program at Georgia State.
According to the Georgia State strategic plan, the new institute will “foster cross-disciplinary research addressing international political, economic, social, educational, and environmental challenges; launch a bachelor’s and master’s degree program in global and international studies, regional certificates, and expand language offerings; and highlight GSU’s prominence related to global issues by sponsoring conferences, colloquia, and symposia on a range of issues.”
