START to Mark Official Launch of Offices with Public Remarks

The new National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START) will host public remarks by the Honorable Charles E. McQueary, Under Secretary for Science and Technology in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The topic for these remarks will be "Strategic Visioning Four Years after 9/11: The University's Role in Informing Counter-Terrorism Policy and Practice."

The remarks, which mark the official launch of START's offices at the University of Maryland, will be followed by a panel discussion involving Maryland faculty and Department of Homeland Security officials.
