Biography:

Carlos Rafael Colon is a Faculty Research Assistant for the Global Terrorism Database (GTD) at START. In 2015, he co-authored The Drone Debate: A Primer on the U.S. Use of Unmanned Aircraft Outside Conventional Battlefields. His research focuses on the ethics, legality and strategic dynamics of drone warfare. He holds an M.A. in Nonproliferation and Terrorism Studies from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and a B.A. with honors in Political Science and Psychology from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
