GIS Project Manager/Researcher, START
Tunde is the GIS Project Manager and Researcher for the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Response to Terrorism (START). He has over 14 years of experience in the Geographic Information Science (GIS) with experience managing large and multi-use discipline projects. In the last two years, he has been a Project Manager at START on several projects funded by the Domestic Nuclear Detection Office (DNDO), National Science Foundation (NSF), and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).
Prior to joining START, Tunde worked with Baltimore County Government, Office of Information Technology as a GIS Program Manager and GIS Specialist, where he managed the operation of the County’s enterprise geographic information system, development of product specifications, technical procedures, standing operating procedures and related systems development life cycle documentation for GIS activities and databases. He also coordinated GIS activities within supported county agencies and departments.
