Developing Academic Partnerships and Collaborative Research on Countering Violent Extremism in Malaysia and Southeast Asia

The purpose of this project is to work with Malaysian partners in order to enhance their ability to publish research findings in international fora and influence regional policy-making. It will also serve to incubate a regional network of scholars focused on the study of terrorism and preventing violent extremism, and to foster a culture of empirically based education and training.
