Biography: 

Omi Hodwitz is an assistant professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Idaho. Hodwitz received her Ph.D. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland, College Park, specializing in the relationship between civil society and terrorism. Hodwitz focuses on the role of non-combatants in terrorism, counter-terrorism strategies and tactics, security assessments, and testing theoretical assumptions.
